In March, Matt joined FinTech West and Future Finance’s ‘Making the Most of Data in Finance’ event. Hosted by S&W in their EQ offices in Bristol, it was a lively morning featuring speakers from Behind Login, Sage Earth and Data Cubed.

The event explored making the best use of data in finance from various aspects including surveys, competitive research, carbon accounting, getting ready for AI and the data journey. Matt championed the insights sector with a rapid-fire run through of recent advances in data analytics and shared the benefits of using survey data for insights in Financial Services and beyond.

FinTech West connects and informs the FinTech community in the South West, working alongside a wide variety of organisations including FinTechs and related tech firms, accelerators and incubators, financial and professional services, universities, colleges and schools, investors and funding bodies and public sector organisations.

Future Finance supports SME and mid-tier businesses with the adoption of innovative products and processes.
